Welcome to the Centres of Digital Excellence, Sussex (CODES project) website. The CODES project is part of an ambitious strategy to develop the digital skills of the Sussex workforce. It was devised by and is managed by the project team of FE Sussex, the consortia of Sussex colleges. Working closely with employers, Sussex colleges have developed a range of upskilling courses each of which provide training in specialist software for local industries and skill sectors.
The CODES project is funded through the Department of Education’s ‘Skills Development Fund’ initiative and alongside development of courses provides an over £2M investment into college IT and computing resources.
